Solar flare activity and geomagnetic field activity seems to affect the amount of paranormal activity -- research has shown that during periods of heightened solar flare activity and geomagnetic activity in space, the amount of spirit activity increases. Researchers claim M class and X class flares are good sources of energy for the spirits to use to manifest. Such activity can also give you "false positive" readings on your EMF detection equipment, especially the more sensitive variety (i.e. the Trifield meters).

For some excellent and detailed information go to the archived VGHRS link shown here:

Using EMF detectors during electrical storms or during periods of intense geomagnetic atmospheric activity may skew your data and is worth noting on your report. Whether or not the phases of the moon can effect paranormal activity is still being debated. However, it is scientific fact that the moon can affect magnetic readings therefore it is only logical to make the connection. I recommend documenting the current moon phase before all your investigations and recording it into your reports. You may notice a pattern over time.

MOONRISE MOONSET

“I saw a star explode, and send out the building blocks of the Universe. Other stars, other planets and eventually, other life. A supernova – Creation itself!

I was there. I wanted to see it and be part of the moment. And you know how I perceived one of the most glorious events in the universe? With these ridiculous, gelatinous orbs in my skull! With eyes designed to perceive only a tiny fraction of the EM spectrum. With ears designed only to hear vibrations in the air.

I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays. I want to hear X-rays. I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can't even express these things properly because I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid, limiting spoken language!

But I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws. And feel the wind of a supernova flowing over me! I'm a machine, and I can know much more. I can experience so much more. But I'm trapped in this absurd body!

And why? Because my five creators thought that God wanted it that way!

"All Souls Night, bonfires dot the rolling hillsides
Figures dance around and around
To drums that pulse out echoes of darkness
Moving to the pagan sound.

Somewhere in a hidden memory
Images float before my eyes
Of fragrant nights of straw and of bonfires
And dancing till the next sunrise.

Chorus

I can see the lights in the distance
Trembling in the dark cloak of night
Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing
A waltz on All Souls Night..."
